Our story…
Mary Bennett was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme on April 1, 2006. She went through surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and other trials, living life as best as she could until she passed away in October 2007. Let’s support brain tumor survivors and raise awareness and funds for brain tumor research. One day, there will be a cure for brain tumors. All money raised from the Walk for the Mind stays local and goes toward brain tumor research programs at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.
