This will be my fourth year participating in the Mark Linder Walk for the Mind as a three time brain tumor survivor. I have so many things to be thankful for in my life, but my health is at the top of my list. Every day when I take my medication, I am reminded that God is not done with my story yet. HE is the great physician, and I’m evidence of that. I still think about the three different surgeons who performed my surgeries, and they will forever hold a special place in my heart. As I continue to live my life, my motto is SHINE BRIGHTLY. The verse I’ve written on my heart is Matthew 5:16- “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
