I feel fortunate to have grown up with no barriers to enjoying nature, and to now be raising two girls who I have the privilege of taking into the outdoors at least once a week. Not all kids are so lucky. I'm honored to be supporting YES: Nature to Neighborhoods, to allow kids who otherwise don't have the opportunity to get into nature and enjoy the beautiful natural world.

Our charity partner for this event is YES Nature to Neighborhoods. They provide underrepresented Richmond youth, adults and families with powerful experiences in the outdoors and leadership training - opportunities that ignite the imagination, build self-confidence, and nurture participants to be engaged leaders.
