My Story…
Once again I'll be running for the support of the residents cared for by the SHARP Foundation. My goal is higher than usual this year but we could really use a Mental Health Therapist to bridge the gap between the intake of a new resident to connecting them with community mental health supports. If I reach my goal I may even bring back the headpiece I wore at Calgary Pride.
Description
For the past 29 years, the SHARP Foundation has supported over 400 Albertan living with complex health with integrated/ care which has been recognized all across Canada. Today, The SHARP Foundation's main focus is helping residents live longer and have sustainable lives instead of primarily acting as a palliative care facility, but most importantly help residents become independent and integrate in the community.
