What if you called for help and no one answered? Throughout the developing world, the threat of violence is part of everyday life for the poor - it's as much a part of poverty as hunger, disease, or homelessness. And impoverished people are vulnerable because their justice systems don't protect them from violent people. In fact, according to the UN, justice systems in the developing world are so broken that 4 billion people live "far from the law's protection." Help us to put violence and slavery out of business by joining us in the Calgary Marathon!
