My Story…
In February, I registered for the Scotiabank Half Marathon scheduled for May 31, 2020. With everything that has happened, this in-person event was cancelled and I was given the option to complete this race virtually. This weekend, I'll be running the Virtual Scotiabank Half Marathon from Banff to Canmore. It has been a long term goal of mine to run a half marathon and to run from Banff to Canmore on the Legacy Trail. In addition, I figured it would be a great opportunity to raise money for a charity. My chosen charity for this race is the Epilepsy Association of Calgary. In November 2017, my boyfriend was diagnosed with Epilepsy. I thought it would be fitting to raise money for a charity that helps individuals learn how to navigate their life with epilepsy. Any donations would be appreciated! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
