My Story…

All it takes is 20 people to give $5 or 5 people to give $20. One of my past athletes now work with the Centre for Newcomers and is looking for community support to help this worthwhile cause.

Description

At the Centre for Newcomers we provide a wide range of programs, including Settlement and Information Services, Career Develop and Job Search Support, RealMe Youth Program, EthniCity Catering and Training, Volunteer-led Refugee Integration, LGBTQ+ and Vulnerable People Settlement Services, Volunteer Development, Multicultural Peer Mentorship, English Language Training (LINC), Mental Health Workshops and Referral Assitance, Career Services for Professional Artists, Canadian Business Essentials for Accountants, Seniors Programs, Financial Empowerment Workshops, and Indigenous Education for Newcomers. 

It is through the generous support of our volunteers and sponsors that we are able to continue to offer these services for over 10,000 newcomers to Calgary each year!
