My Story…
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 1998. It was such a challenge to understand the new "for life" diet, and to adjust to other medical autoimmune issues that were also revealed. With the support of the Calgary Chapter I learned to navigate the diet and get my health back. Since that time I have been a volunteer with the association. It is through the great work with education, events and research that the Chapter continues to help so many people diagnosed with this disease.
