My Story…
I am participating in this event to support my friend's children's school. Our team's fundraising goal is $1,700 and so far we have raised $650. If you are able to help we would be so grateful. Here is a bit more info from my friend:
Every year my family and faithful friends participate in this 5 km walk/run to raise funds for my children's school, Foothills Academy. This is an excellent school that specializes in teaching kids with learning disabilities. It has provided my kids with a fantastic education and my eldest graduated this year! We would not be able to attend this school without a scholarship. Tuition is high as class sizes are super low and specialized technology is offered to all the students. All funds raised from this walk/run go towards providing scholarships for families just like mine. This year because of COVID-19 our run will look different. Our team is running/walking on our own but we are still super excited and need your support now more than ever! Thank you!!

Join our team of runners and walkers to help ensure that every child or family affected by Learning Disabilities has the opportunity to participate in specialized, quality programs in a supportive environment with staff who are trained to address their needs. All funds raised will be directed to our Bursary Fund to support this goal. WE NEED YOUR HELP! Join our team or donate to make a significant difference in the lives of many of the 1 in 10 Calgarians affected by Learning Disabilities.
