Mon histoire…

On January 29th, 2019, my family received the devastating news that my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Since then she had spent countless hours in hospitals, had gone through two brain surgeries, a multitude of scans, radiation and chemotherapy sessions. Unfortunately, on April 15th, 2020, she passed away. Through all the ups and all the downs and fighting the good fight, my mom was relentless in her demonstration of strength and positivity. In support of this cause, my sister and I have decided to run in/donate to the Ottawa Tamarack Half Marathon to support my mom, as well as, the ever so supportive community fighting cancer.

To show our appreciation for raising funds, runners raising $300 or more will receive a Canadian Cancer Society running shirt (supplies are limited).
