My Story…
Pau Lavergne 15 May 1920 – 20 May 1998
When my father, the bravest man I’ve known was diagnosed with ALS I started to running as a way to help me cope. I never stopped, I never run alone!
Every year a participate in fundraising events, this year is no change but the approach is! I am participating in the VR walk for ALS, on June 21 and the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend VR edition, The Voyageur Challenge from 17 May until Sept 7. I plan on completing this challenge twice, May/June and late August.
If you are interested you can participate or make a donation. Any support is appreciated.

Description
The ALS Society of Canada (ALS Canada) works with the ALS Community to improve the lives of people affected by ALS through support, advocacy and investment in research for a future without ALS. Proceeds from the Scotiabank Charity Challenge will help to create a better reality for people and families living with ALS by enabling access to support services and equipment. Funds raised will also support research so that one day soon ALS will be a treatable, not terminal disease.
