Help me stay on track with my running goals - all while supporting a wonderful charity near and dear to my heart! I have volunteered with Causeway for 5 years now, and can tell you first hand that every penny donated goes towards helping people in the Ottawa community. Causeway is a not-for-profit agency that helps people with mental illness, and other challenges find meaningful, rewarding work and live more independently. By helping everyone overcome their challenges and reach their full potential, they are helping establish stronger and more inclusive communities. They offer several employment programs, including: pre-employment for youth; casual, group, independent and self-employed options; a wellness program; a computer training program; and three social enterprises that train and employ Causeway clients.
