Mon histoire…

We all have personal connections to cancer and I am no different. In 2002, my Papa passed away from prostate cancer. After my Papa passed away, my dad requested that he start getting regular PSA testing. It was because of this process that my Dad’s cancer was detected early in September 2011. Many years later and cancer is still a part of my dad's life. Although I am grateful that I can report he is currently healthy and happy, he will likely live with prostate cancer for the rest of his life. For these reasons and many more, my goal is to have a tiny part in finding a cure by raising money for this reputable organization. I’m running for my Dad and his Dad and for everyone affected by cancer.
