My Story…
My desire to raise money for Connected Canadians programming at Perley Rideau is behind my first-ever appearance in an organized running event.
As a comically unathletic person, and multi-year recipient of the "I Did My Best" athletic ribbon throughout elementary school I will be delighted to complete the 5K without injuring myself or others.

Description
The Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre is one of Ontario’s largest and most innovative long-term care homes. Located on a 25-acre campus, it is a unique Seniors Village with 450 long-term care beds, 139 independent-living apartments, and a growing number of clinical, therapeutic and recreational services available on-site.
