Hi my name is Ava. I am a 10 year old girl. I am running in the Scotiabank Ottawa Virtual Kids Marathon on June 20th, 2020 because I wanted to help the health care workers because they are fighting so hard to save thousands and thousands of lives. All of the money I raise I have decided to donate to the front line health care workers and trying to find a cure for the virus.
I am supporting the Ottawa Hospital Foundation who has created a COVID-19 Emergency Fund to help hospital workers. They have also started research to help the world fight against the virus. I hope you can donate.
You can also join my team "The Ready Runners" and run virtually with me on June 20th. You can choose your own route or even run on a treadmill. Stay safe! 🐼🐹🐷🐰🐱🐱🦊
