In honour of my 3RD CANCERversary of my lung cancer diagnosis I have registered for the Tamarack Ottawa Virtual Race and hope to raise $5,000 for Lung Cancer Canada. It is a small effort compared to what my family and I have been through over the past 3 years. I will be doing a socially distanced 2K with my lung cancer brothers and sisters here in Ottawa on a date in late May or early June (will update once finalized). If you would like to make a donation to support better awareness, access to treatment and advocacy for LUNG CANCER. I'am incredibly grateful for your support in this crazy & emotional journey. I always says "From Darkness came Light". Although this diagnosed is devastating , it has been amazingly rewarding with the connections / friendships that developed through the Lung cancer community. Many joys, smiles and tears together.....xo

Every day 57 Canadians will die from Lung cancer. It kills more than 20,000 people each year – more than breast, prostate and colon cancer combined, yet advancements are handicapped by vastly inadequate research funding.
