Team RUN For Roon:
Hi to all of you. I am planning once again to test my endurance capacity by completing a run/walk combo 1/2 marathon . Your support will encourage me and will raise money for the Michael Rooney & Family Endowment Fund with the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. Since 2012, our friend Jane and family have raised over $80,000 for the fund in memory of her husband Michael.
The event this year is virtual, meaning participants must complete the event on their day of choice before mid September. I plan to do my run/walk in the month of June and my goal is 3 1/2 hours. Wish me luck !!!
