Finally, a race weekend I can participate in! My running inspiration and buddy is our border collie, Finn. She and I both started our running journey together, and going for a run without her is ... well ... just not right. She came into my life around the same time I started my relationship with the Heart Institute. This is a unique way to give back to an institution that has given me so much. July 13th update ... So inspired to do this given the generous donations of family and friends. Finally, a cool-ish morning to do another timed run. My goal is to improve my run time both by cutting out the intervals (although I still need to do the occasional doggy pick-up pause) and, well, by moving faster. Pushing the edges a little, seeing what is possible!
