Mon histoire…

I am a proud board member of the SPCO and have just returned to running so...hoping you will consider making a donation. The SPCO is Ottawa's oldest community development organization. They focus on supporting community action affecting the social and economic wellbeing of Ottawa residents. SPCO is also the sponsor organization for Youth Action Now- the initiative my late husband Paul Dewar and I began in June 2018 to support youth advocates wanting to make change in their community. Without the SPCO YAN would not be in existence so... please consider donating to this worthy organization. Together we can make change!

Description

The SPCO is a community development organisation: We lead and support community action on issues affecting the social and economic wellbeing of Ottawa residents. Our priorities are community economic development, creating inclusion, providing access to basics, and supporting the voluntary sector. We’ve been around since 1928 and have incubated important services like United Way Ottawa, ParaTranspo, the Youth Services Bureau, the Council on Aging, the Alliance to End Homelessness, and Just Food. We are proud to include Synapcity and Youth Action Now among our sponsored organisations. Help us continue to make a difference.
