My Story…
The Grand Philharmonic Choir is new to me, this being my first season with them, but they have welcomed me with wide-open arms and made me feel right at home. Individually and as an organization, they’ve been rockstars in terms of accessibility. And they have a 98-year history of beautiful, challenging music that I’m honoured to join.
5 km is going to be a big physical challenge and I'm excitedly working towards it! Thank you for considering a donation to support me and the GPC!
Description
On May 2, 2020, the Grand Philharmonic Choir will be
participating in the Scotiabank Mississauga Marathon once again. The Scotiabank Charity Challenge fundraising event was very successful and raised a little over $9,000 for our choir last year. This year we are starting earlier and stronger than ever and we hope to do even better!
It is a fun way for us to fundraise. It gives all levels of our organisation, from the Children and Youth Choirs to the Adult and Chamber Choirs, a chance to work together at keeping our learning programs going , as well as our performances and our community events.
