Help Donna raise money

For participating in 2020 Mississauga Marathon

My Story…

“Music… can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.” Leonard Bernstein I recently returned to the Phil Choir after many years away. Jobs, raising children, and life in general kept my life too busy for one more thing, but when I retired, it became a high priority to return. Singing uplifts me, inspires me, challenges me and adds immeasurably to my physical, social and mental health. I like to think that it also does the same for those who come to hear the beautiful music we perform throughout the year. “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. “ Plato For these reasons, I am walking to raise funds for the Grand Phil Choir. Please help me to support this amazing organization and the great work it does. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Description

On May 2, 2020, the Grand Philharmonic Choir will be

participating in the Scotiabank Mississauga Marathon once again. The Scotiabank Charity Challenge fundraising event was very successful and raised a little over $9,000 for our choir last year. This year we are starting earlier and stronger than ever and we hope to do even better!

It is a fun way for us  to fundraise. It gives all levels of our organisation, from the Children and Youth Choirs to the Adult and Chamber Choirs, a chance to work together at keeping our learning programs going , as well as our performances and our community events.

Please consider a donation and help us continue our 98 years tradition of choral excellence!
