Help Jillian raise money

For participating in 2020 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend

My Story…

In 2017, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident that caused a TBI and grade 3 concussion. I was never a runner before but after the injury, even walking became an issue. I could barely walk across a parking lot without losing my balance, having blurry vision, and becoming incredibly ill. After a year and a half of physical therapy, I could finally start running. I completed my first ever 5K in October of 2018, just 2 months after being cleared from all doctors. Now, I never want to not be able to run again. Running this relay and 5K is one of my many steps towards my goal of one day running the full marathon. Choosing to run this relay as a charity runner though, gives this race even more purpose and meaning to me. I feel honored to be running as a charity runner for Children's Hospital, a hospital that helps children recover and heal so they too can do things in life they never thought imaginable. Please help me in my goal to raise $1,000 before race day. Thank you.
