My Story…
I am fundraising in memory of my dad, Bill Lovic. He was diagnosed with ALS in January 2015. The last time I got to see him that year, he told me he wouldn’t make it until Spring, and he was right. I associate running with that time for many reasons I won’t detail here. So I’m dedicating my 2020 running challenge to my Dad, especially the half marathon on his birthday and the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay with 2-person Team Running Cousins.

Description
The ALS Association Western Pennsylvania Chapter and Team Challenge ALS are running in honor of those currently living with ALS and in remembrance of those we have lost to the disease. The funds raised by our team provide help and hope to those living with ALS by supporting local patient care, advocacy, and global research to find treatments and a cure for this always fatal disease.
