Help Emily raise money

This year my team name is Focus Forward. Feel free to join my team or donate - any amount is appreciated! On December 8, 2003 my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was 2 weeks before my 25th birthday and I was petrified for my future. I had already lost my mom at age 41, as well as her mom and 2 great aunts to breast cancer. Fast forward to today, I am now 41 and celebrating 16 YEARS CANCER FREE. I recently read something that said "for survivors there is no life without cancer." This proves to be true with any scare or ache or pain. Last Fall I had two separate cancer scares and was brought back 16 years ago to those same feelings of complete and utter fear. After an MRI and surgery, it was confirmed nothing had come back! I made a promise to myself that I would FOCUS FORWARD from then on and leave the past behind. So join my team or donate to help exceed my goal. I will be attempting to run/jog, and for those of you who know me, please don't laugh. :)
