Help Mike raise money

For participating in Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon

My Story…

Mike Adamle is courageously sharing his personal battle with CTE with the goal of showing that you can still live your best life with the degenerative brain disease linked to head impacts. A former NFL running back and longtime sportscaster, Mike spent nearly 40 years on-air reporting and hosting sportscasts on a variety of platforms including NBC Chicago, ESPN, ABC Chicago, and the popular syndicated series American Gladiators. Mike quietly retired in 2016 after developing cognitive impairment that his doctors eventually diagnosed as probable CTE. In 2017, Adamle took his diagnosis public with the goal of inspiring others to not give in to CTE. With his wife Kim, they launched The Mike Adamle Project: Rise Above as a project at the Concussion Legacy Foundation to provide patients living with symptoms of CTE, and their families, with tools, resources, a supportive community, and hope. Please support Team Adamle at the 2020 Cleveland Marathon to raise money for Rise Above.
