I didn’t know much about CTE until I met Mike Adamle and his wife, Kim in 2019. Mike’s goal was to toe the line at the Chicago Triathlon this past August and needless to say, Mike's determination and his amazing support team led him to the finish line! Mike is an inspiration to others as he continues persevere thru challenging times and live his best life with CTE. I chose to run this year’s Cleveland Marathon along with Mike Adamle to support the Concussion Legacy. Former NFL running back for the Chicago Bears and sportscaster, Mike retired in 2016 after developing cognitive impairment that his doctors diagnosed as probable CTE.
