Until 2014, I was Executive Director of the Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia (now Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes), and now I'm an enthusiastic volunteer with the Association.
Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes (EAM) is the only organization in the Maritimes providing support and services to people living with epilepsy in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI. EAM also offers education about epilepsy to schools, businesses, first responders and community groups. EAM promotes epilepsy awareness to the general public though Purple Day, celebrated on March 26, and other awareness events throughout the year.
Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes has a small but mighty team working every day to improve the lives of those with epilepsy and their families. I am proud to volunteer with this great organization, and ask you to sponsor me to help me to contribute to its valuable work.
In my other life, I am the Artistic Director of the Unicorn Theatre, a youth theatre located in Head of St. Margaret's Bay, NS. The Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes is the Official Charity of Unicorn Theatre

Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes (EAM) relies on the generosity of donors, corporate supporters and volunteers like you. has been providing services and support for 40 years for persons living with epilepsy, their families and communities. Our mission is to provide education and resources to support persons living with epilepsy, their families, their communities and we support ongoing research. We offer services including epilepsy awareness and seizure first aid education, resources, support, advocacy, service navigation, programming as well as scholarships and bursaries Your support helps us continue our important work and makes a difference in the lives of those living with epilepsy, their families and communities.
