My Story…
In honour of the Sea School, and Captain Zoe Nudell, I will participate in the Blue Nose marathon by canoe. With other Sea School leaders, I'll paddle 42 km on the Annapolis/Te'wapskik River, while trying to keep my Nose from going Blue.
This is a beautiful part of the province that spans the ancestral and unceded Kespukwik valley. We honor the treaty that grants us peaceful passage down the Te'wapskik River.'
Please, join me on the river, or support the cause through a donation. You will receive an automatic tax receipt via email.
Description
TEAM ZOE of The Nova Scotia Sea School will be participating in this year's Scotiabank Bluenose Marathon Charity Challenge in honour of our friend, alumni and sea Captain, Zoe Nudell, who tragically passed in November of 2013. She was spirited, giving and passionate about helping youth find their footing in the world through adventure and sailing experiences.
JOIN US!! YOU DON’T NEED TO BE A RUNNER TO CELEBRATE!! TEAM ZOE is a diverse group of alumni, participants, staff and board members. We will be walking, running, dancing and bowline tying our way to the finish line of the youth run and 5K during our 8th year in this awesome and inspiring community event.
This year, we hope to raise over $5000 towards our Leadership Ark Training Program. TEAM ZOE will fundraise in support of continued programming, to provide transformational leadership opportunities for youth across Nova Scotia
