My Story…

This is my 6th year of running and I am grateful for all my friends, family and supporters. With your help, we've assisted a local Sunday Supper program, a local drop in Foot Clinic, helped "Dress for Success" and stocked the shelves of local food banks. Internationally, we've helped build Centers of HOPE in the Philippines, assisted in Earthquake Disaster Relief in Nepal and are helping a young Nepalese Nursing student complete her dream and her studies...This year we are also running to support recovery efforts in Lebanon following the recent disaster, as well as continue to support our local Sunday Suppers, our Drop In Foot Clinic and other programs. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT in "Bringing HOPE, Changing Lives" in this world we live in!

Description

HOPEworldwide of Canada’s mission is “Bringing Hope, Changing Lives”! This year is our 6th year of running in the Blue Nose, and over the past 5 years, we have been privileged to raise over $ 115,000 from the generous support of our donors, friends and volunteers. These funds have been used to help locally with the Sunday Supper program, a drop in Foot Clinic, donation drives in support of local Food Banks, “Dress For Success – Halifax” and providing back packs for disadvantaged youth heading back to school. Internationally, we have supported Orphanages and Schools in India, a School in Nepal, rebuilding programs in Typhoon devastated areas of the Philippines and more! This year, we want to take it even higher! Our fundraising this year will continue to support both local and international projects and to make 2020 a success we need your help! Please join our team to walk, run or assist with our fundraising efforts leading up to race weekend. Help us to make a difference both here in Nova Scotia and around the world by joining the HOPEworldwide Canada - Team Halifax for the Blue Nose Marathon!
