Music makes a difference. Hearing, making and feeling music allows us to think beyond our limitations, encourages collaboration and connection across diverse communities, and teaches us so much about ourselves and the world around us. I am lucky enough to see how Symphony Nova Scotia touches the lives of thousands of Nova Scotians each year through low barrier, interactive programming. From pre-school to retirement homes and everyone in between; music isn't a privilege - it's a human right! I'll be running my second half marathon this year with the Symphony Striders. We are the driving force behind Symphony Nova Scotia's Education and Community Outreach programs that bring music to thousands of Nova Scotians each year!
