My Story…
Having seen the benefits of the resources and programming at Eating Disorders NS, I knew I wanted to participate fundraising with this team. Eating disorders are very serious, isolating illnesses and organizations like Eating Disorders NS work hard to provide support to individuals affected by them. Their online programming has been especially helpful to me and my continuing recovery, as I am in a different province. All programming and resources are free of charge and accessible to all. Please consider donating any amount to support a wonderful organization that helps countless individuals.
Description
Eating Disorders Nova Scotia (EDNS) is a community based organization that offers peer support for individuals with eating disorders, and for their families, friends and partners.
In addition we provide:
Education for caregivers, clinicians, school staff and others
Assistance navigating the mental health system
Advocacy for the prevention, treatment and support of eating disorders
Programs are free of charge, and do not require a referral or diagnosis.
