The Halifax office is the only Atlantic Canadian affiliate to date and has served approximately 1700 clients since opening 18 years ago.  Dress for Success Halifax offers a variety of services designed to help clients find jobs and remain employed.  Each Dress for Success Halifax client receives one outfit when she has a job interview and can return for a second outfit or separates when she becomes employed.  On-going mentoring and support is provided monthly to clients who become members of the Professional Women’s Group-(PWG).  Dress for Success Halifax serves clients by referral only to receive clothing.  Our clients come to us from a continually expanding and diverse group of non-profit and government agencies including homeless shelters, immigration services, job training programs, educational institutions and domestic violence shelters, among many other organizations.  More than 50 organizations throughout HRM refer women to Dress for Success Halifax for professional apparel and career development services.
