START/FINISH PROCEDURES: This year, all races will be chip timed FROM BEGINNING TO END. PLEASE NOTE that regardless of where you start in the lineup, your time will be recorded against EVERY runner who is participating in that particular race.
As always, we will start each race separately according to time. See below schedule. Each race will be laid out to promote social distancing, and each runner/walker is asked to stand on a X prior to the start of the event, maintaining a 6 foot distance between runners/walkers.
Each runner will position themselves on a marked “X” on the pavement in the start area. Participants are discouraged from walking and running in groups.
Half Marathon: 7 a.m.
5K Run: 7:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT WATER STOP INFORMATION: We will only have water stops every OTHER mile this year (Miles 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11). Participants must bring their OWN water bottles (no cups will be provided at the stops) and can fill up their bottles at the station water coolers. You must hand sanitize before you fill your water bottle. Volunteers will be on hand to periodically sanitize the water coolers as well. We will provide hand sanitizing stations at the start/finish area and at each of the 3 water stops.
