Help Shaylyn raise money

The FBC entered my life in 1999 as a support to my family as we navigated a new world. The FBC helped my parents advocate for services for me so that I could learn Braille and Orientation & Mobility skills. I also attended the FBC's recreational program where I made life-long friendships and participated in fun activities to strengthen my understanding that vision loss is a diagnosis, not a disability. As I transitioned to college the FBC continued to support me with independent living training. I now work at the FBC part-time to help provide students with the same experiences and support that I received. I am forever grateful.
