Heaven's Cradle

Heaven's Cradle was established in memory of Davis Arnold Lackey to provide assistance and comfort to families suffering from perinatal loss and staff training in perinatal grief.

The fund’s mission is to provide comfort and assistance to families suffering perinatal loss. Funds raised will be used to create grace bags filled with keepsakes and support information for parents and families for families who have lost a baby.  In addition, funds will be used to facilitate special training for clinical staff that work with bereaved families.

We believe that every family, regardless of diagnosis or income, is entitled to have time and memories with their child.

We believe each child deserves to be honored and remembered.

We believe every mother, father, sibling, and grandparent deserves access to information and support.

We believe doctors, nurses, and other caregivers are most effective in caring for bereaved families when they have training and support.
