Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation

The Dr. Peter Centre stands as the point of care for those living with HIV with a history of mental illness, illicit drug use, and chaotic lives. Our Day Health Program helps 409 people, with more on the waiting list. A unique 24 people live in the Centre’s 24hr care residence.

The Centre offers a living room for care instead of an emergency room, a warm place of refuge instead of a cold concrete stoop. From hearty meals and social gatherings to therapy exercises and medication management, our multidimensional approach gives those with HIV a place to do more than breathe. It’s a place to live.
