My Story…

As many of you know, our lovely talented, sweet son developed schizophrenia in his late teens. It was a very hard road for a few years where we stayed on our knees praying for him because we were terrified. Now we walk to help raise funds and awareness for everyone who is living with this disease. Thank you for supporting our cause <3

Description

Schizophrenia is a complex brain disorder which affects how you understand and relate to the world around you. Over 48,000 families in B.C. have a loved one who develops schizophrenia. BC Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) provides free education and support to these families, as well as public education for front line emergency workers, teachers, children and youth, and many others. BCSS gives families "a reason to hope...the means to cope."

Join us and walk or run to make difference in the lives of thousands of families across the province!
