My Story…
Hi I'm Gillian, I am so definitely not a runner. But, when someone I love is struggling I get involved. I have watched my family walk through some very hard times. There are so many questions and things to learn about schizophrenia. Research cannot happen without funds. That is why I am doing this. I still don't run, I walk, but I walk with purpose. I walk with my family. Please consider supporting me as I fund raise for "Team Heimburger" and the BC Schizophrenia Society.
Description
Schizophrenia is a complex brain disorder which affects how you understand and relate to the world around you. Over 48,000 families in B.C. have a loved one who develops schizophrenia. BC Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) provides free education and support to these families, as well as public education for front line emergency workers, teachers, children and youth, and many others. BCSS gives families "a reason to hope...the means to cope."
