My Story…

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I have been involved with North Shore Restorative Justice for almost 5 years and am a proud member of the board of directors, and the chairman of NSRJ’s engagement committee. At NSRJ our mission is to build capacity and connectivity with the North Shore community to prevent and respond to conflict and harm. We will do this through values-based processes that engage elders, adults and youth. Through our restorative response program, and our restorative justice in education program, we aim to provide an approach that is both proactive and reactive in order to help the entire North Shore community and every end. Please help support our fundraising goal of $15,000 as a team and my goal of $1000 as an individual! Every donation, small or large, helps towards providing more capacity for NSRJ to increase program availability across the North Shore and contribute towards a stronger, safer community.

Description

This is a key annual fundraiser to support having restorative justice in North Shore schools, to divert files from the criminal justice system towards a restorative, community-based response and to offer facilitation and dialogue on complex community issues. We encourage supporters to register and participate! Prizes for our top three fundraising runners will be announced in the spring. By donating to us, you contribute to ensuring access and participation in a holistic approach that develops resilience skills, builds strong relations and results in meaningful resolutions for children, youth, adults and seniors.
