My Story…
I am running for Dixon's child support program because meeting the needs of children fleeing violence is important to me.
With my background in early childhood education, I care deeply about the children that comes across my path and providing a safe nurturing place for them to explore the world around them. And now, with my current role at Dixon, I am aware of the importance of providing a safe place free from violence. The child support program not only provides fun activities and outings but it provides a chance for them to heal from violence and break the cycle of abuse.

Description
We want the children in our care to grow up safe and happy, with every opportunity to go the distance. We also know that children who grow up to respect women and express emotions in a healthy way are an indicator of the cycle of violence being broken.
Because of this, we offer a comprehensive child support program, with dedicated Child Support Workers, fun group activities and an exciting summer recreation program.
$250 raised funds individualized support and access to comprehensive child support program for 1 child
