My Story…
It was 5 years ago that I ran my first race, the 5 km Scotiabank Charity Challenge, and it's because of the ladies in Elektra Women's Choir that I took that first step to becoming a runner. I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing choir, and I sincerely believe that all donations received will contribute to more people being blessed by beautiful music.
During these challenging times of Covid-19 affecting our world, I have found both music and running to be incredibly helpful in managing my own emotional and physical health. I had been planning to run 30 km, but due to some running injuries I will be relying on the support of some good friends to help me achieve this by doing it as a relay! Thanks to my team: Jessica May, Jeff Groulx, Johannes Schouten and Danice Uyesugi!
