My Story…

In July, I'll be running a (virtual) half marathon to support North Shore Restorative Justice Society! I was introduced to this organization by my friend Marcela, who works for them to help keep conflict resolution in our community. From their website: "A peaceful approach to crime and conflict that seeks to address the needs of victims, offenders and communities by offering processes that encourage dialogue, reparation and healing." I'd love if you'd help me support all the amazing and important work they do!

Description

This is a key annual fundraiser to support having restorative justice in North Shore schools, to divert files from the criminal justice system towards a restorative, community-based response and to offer facilitation and dialogue on complex community issues. We encourage supporters to register and participate! Prizes for our top three fundraising runners will be announced in the spring. By donating to us, you contribute to ensuring access and participation in a holistic approach that develops resilience skills, builds strong relations and results in meaningful resolutions for children, youth, adults and seniors.
