My Story…
During these uncertain times there is an even bigger need to provide a safe place and supportive programs for women and children fleeing violence. At Dixon Transition Society, the child support program relies entirely on donor generosity, as funding for it has been eliminated. That’s why I'm running for Team Dixon and supporting the #DistanceForDixon fundraiser to raise $25,000 for our child support program. Join our team to help keep the child support program running!
Description
We want the children in our care to grow up safe and happy, with every opportunity to go the distance. We also know that children who grow up to respect women and express emotions in a healthy way are an indicator of the cycle of violence being broken.
Because of this, we offer a comprehensive child support program, with dedicated Child Support Workers, fun group activities and an exciting summer recreation program.
