My Story…

NSRJ helps individuals impacted by criminal activities - victims and offenders - achieve justice through dialogue (virtual or in person) to reach agreement on restorative acts offenders perform to make the victim feel whole. Too often, outside of a restorative justice system, offenders serve jail time that does nothing to restore the victim's loss and does everything to disrupt the offender's ability to be a productive member of society. Restorative justice is an important tool in mitigating injustice. For my activity, I will be hiking my 5k. Join me in supporting this important work today!

Description

This is a key annual fundraiser to support having restorative justice in North Shore schools, to divert files from the criminal justice system towards a restorative, community-based response and to offer facilitation and dialogue on complex community issues. We encourage supporters to register and participate! Prizes for our top three fundraising runners will be announced in the spring. By donating to us, you contribute to ensuring access and participation in a holistic approach that develops resilience skills, builds strong relations and results in meaningful resolutions for children, youth, adults and seniors.
