My Story…
Dixon Transition Society (www.dixonsociety.ca) provides a full spectrum of service to women and children fleeing domestic violence.
This year:
1. The COVID-19 pandemic unfortunately has brought a surge in domestic violence and Dixon has been working tirelessly to cope with this surge while maintaining the covid19 protocols
2. Dixon Transition Society's Child Support funding has been discontinued
Growing up, despite all the hardship and challenges, I loved to play. Soccer, running, biking, ... and that really shaped my personality and resilience. As such, I'm funding raising for Dixon Transition Society to support and keep their Child Support Programs alive.

Description
We want the children in our care to grow up safe and happy, with every opportunity to go the distance. We also know that children who grow up to respect women and express emotions in a healthy way are an indicator of the cycle of violence being broken.
Because of this, we offer a comprehensive child support program, with dedicated Child Support Workers, fun group activities and an exciting summer recreation program.
$250 raised funds individualized support and access to comprehensive child support program for 1 child
$500 funds all of the above for 2 children
$1000 funds all of the above for 5 children
