The mission of the Heart and Stroke Foundation is to prevent disease, save lives and promote recovery. In order to accomplish these goals the Foundation’s mission activities include investing in life-saving research, advocating for healthy public policies and empowering healthy lives through public awareness campaigns and health promotion tools engaging Canadians to make health last. A volunteer-based health charity, the Foundation strives to tangibly improve the health of every Canadian family, every day. Healthy lives free of heart disease and stroke.
