Together we can make a difference!
This year, due to Covid-19, I ran the virtual Manitoba Marathon on October 19th.
I have now run 18 full marathons since I turned 50 and, at age 69, I'm not sure how long I will keep doing this. However, what I am sure of is that I was able to do it again this year - albeit virtually.
Each year, besides finishing, one of my goals is to raise funds for the Manitoba Marathon, so that we can help people with intellectual disabilities become more independent and active in our community. So once again, I am asking for your generous support to help me meet my fundraising goal.
Note: I have the technology to track my run and upload it once I complete the virtual marathon. There is even a medal that I get to present to myself when I finish. So, I'll try to update everyone, when it's all over.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Charly
