Raise money for Carefirst Foundation
Carefirst Foundation is committed to fundraise for Carefirst Seniors & Community Services and other organizations with similar objectives; to provide stable and quality community services to those in need. ‘You Make Caring Possible’ – your contributions will support Carefirst on the re-development of York Region Community Centre. This Centre of tomorrow combines community support and health care services under one roof for the easy access to service users.
Proceed raised from the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon virtual race will support Carefirst Seniors’ Capital Project – the Carefirst Campus of Care. This state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary centre, located at 9893 Leslie Street in Richmond Hill, will combine a community hub that offers integrated community support, social and health-care services with a 120 beds long-term care home. With the current shortage of Long term care availability in the York Region and adjacent areas (second lowest LTC bed supply per 1000 people over the age of 75, and the highest number of individuals on LTC waitlists in Ontario), our project will enhance access to a wide range of services for the local residents.
Your donation will help:
- Seniors – To promote and expand our services, including long-term care, medical-care, home care, transportation, Chronic Disease Management and Wellness Programs, etc.
- Chinese, Asian, and South-Asian communities – To promote and provide social & health services in their respective native language.
- Immigrants/New residents - To support their integration into Canadian society and our community by facilitating social, recreational, information and referral services.
- Youth – To promote social awareness among youth by providing them with learning (classes & seminars) and volunteering opportunities.
‘You Make Caring Possible’ – your contributions will support Carefirst Seniors and Community Services on the capital and services development of the “Carefirst Campus of Care” in Richmond Hill. On behalf of our community, we thank you for making caring possible. :)
