My Story…
Hi! This month I'm lacing up the ol' runners in the virtual Scotiabank running event to support the Canadian Celiac Association (CCA).
My son was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, an immune reaction to eating gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley and rye). CCA has been a tremendous help with information & community support. It's amazing the number of Canadians--both young and old--who rely on this great organization and the wonderful work it does.
Each day this month, this 'glutton for gluten' will be running 5K to show support for those living with celiac.
Thanks for your consideration!
