My Story…
I will be walking 5k for a 7th year. This year is like no other. More than ever, we need support to be able to pull through this fall and winter season. I am raising funds for hospital type of over bed tables. We need over bed tables for each room. During outbreaks and when residents are under quarantine they take their meals in their rooms. When each resident has a table in their room, this will make food service much more effective.

The Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre is dedicated to serving the needs of seniors and meeting the demands of a growing senior population with care and compassion. We take care of frail seniors, faced with multiple health issues, including Alzheimer’s and other dementias. We run a social program for seniors from the community, helping them stay active and connected.
During this time of pandemic, your support will help us protect the lives of many seniors, helping them stay safe and connected.
